The English Riviera BID (ERBID) Company is responsible for leading on the Destination Marketing of the resort and is guardian of the English Riviera brand. Funded by over 1200 Tourism and Hospitality businesses who pay a compulsory BID Levy every year towards promotion the ERBID works in partnership to maximise reach and attract new year-round visitors to the destination. Part of the company’s focus is to develop major events and in this regard the ERBID Company has been in full support of the English Riviera Air Show and is one of the events main sponsors, encouraging visitors to Make a Weekend Of it and stay a few days with the family to enjoy all that the resort has to offer.

The English Riviera is the ultimate UK destination for an Airshow. The natural amphitheatre, surrounded by dozens of viewing points means the English Riviera Airshow is accessible to everyone. This event draws crowds from all over the UK and is the one that local tourism and hospitality sector benefits from the most. The support we’ve already received from local businesses shows just how important this event is, not only for the economy, but it’s a great opportunity for families and people of all ages to come together and experience the excitement of some of the world’s best aerobatic display teams. Bigwave Marketing is a full-service marketing agency with a mission to make a difference and deliver growth to clients, colleagues and community.

The team comprises of 44 professionals specialised in creative design, content creation, email marketing, paid media management (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO), social media management, and web development. Their aim is to connect clients with new and existing audiences.

As part of the agency mission, it promotes physical activity in the workplace and supports charities through the ‘Bigwave Business Games,’ a series of networking and friendly competitions that has raised over £54,000 for charity and runs in Torbay, Exeter and Plymouth.

As a regional agency, Bigwave works closely with Southwest organisations to provide employment and workplace opportunities, including internships, lectures and student mentoring.
