Airshow Programme Sunday

Airshow Display Programme

The English Riviera Airshow will take over the seafront of Paignton to create a FREE summer day out for all the family.

You can take in all the fun of the fair with plenty of rides and carnival stalls on Paignton Green, pick up some delicious treats from our wide array of food and drink stalls.

You can also pay a visit to our visiting RAF crews, where you can stop on by and say hello to crews from the Red Arrows, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Royal Navy and Army.

12.00 – 13.00:

RAF Red Arrows

The iconic Red Arrows return to the English Riviera Airshow to close the show on Saturday and open it in style on Sunday.

13:00 – 14.00:

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is a symbol of the Royal Air Force’s finest hour. The Hurricane, Lancaster and Spitfire are three of the most iconic aircraft in world aviation history.

Yakolev Yak 50s

This aircraft was designed in the Soviet Union (first flown in 1973) for one thing only – to win aerobatic competitions, especially on the international stage.

Jubilee Flotilla

Away from the flying action, at 1.30pm the Jubilee Flotilla will set sail from Roundham Head and sail across both Paignton and Preston seafronts to Livermead Head Torquay to delight the crowds on land.

Expect the waves to be filled with boats, ships, paddle boarders and water lovers, creating a traditional Jubilee Flotilla of water-craft.

Participating vessels will be dressed in their celebratory red, white and blue best to mark the royal occasion… there will even be a prize for the best dressed vessel.

14.00 – 15.00:

The Tigers Freefall Parachute Display Team

This is one of the country’s top display teams, made up of hugely experienced parachutists from The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment.

Flown by Mark Petrie, the BAC Strikemaster light attack aircraft is an English Riviera Airshow favourite.

The Big Lunch

Alongside the aerial displays, “The Big Lunch” will also take place from 2pm – a giant airshow street party where visitors can look forward to a celebratory picnic with friends and family on Paignton Green. There will be a range of high quality food and drink outlets to grab a bite and watch the many flying displays.

15.00 – 16.00:
