English Riviera Airshow – 1st – 2nd June 2024

As part of the event organisation, several safety and traffic management measures will be put in place to limit vehicular access around Paignton Seafront, Preston Seafront and the surrounding residential areas during the event.

These restrictions, which have worked well in previous years, have been put in place to ensure that emergency service vehicles can still access all areas, and to ensure minimum disruption is caused to residents by visitors to the Airshow.

The map linked below shoes the roads that will be closed during the event and the designated times of closure which have been reduced compared to last year’s Airshow:

  • Saturday 2nd June 11am – 7pm
  • Sunday 3rd June 11am – 7pm

*The designated times of closure which have been reduced compared to last year’s Airshow:

Roads shaded red on the map, will have no vehicular access between the designated times (including Blue Badge holders). The only exception to this rule will be for emergency service vehicles.

Roads shaded yellow will be advised as ‘Road Closures’/ ‘Residents Access Only’; however, residents and business owners including yourselves will have access to these areas throughout the duration of the event using this letter.

Residents can use there letter as they wish, they are not specific to any vehicle. For instance, if a regular carer or visiting family member needs access during the event, then they can use this letter.

Those who have booked Airshow Parking will also be able to access their designated car parks.

Disabled Drop off can take place directly at the road closure sites at either end of the Esplanade.

Coach Drop off is located at Hyde Road, Paignton.

Parking Suspensions

There will be several specific on-street parking suspensions which will be advertised and enforced, please ensure you check any on-street notices which may be displayed.

  • Garfield Road
  • Torbay Road
  • Queens Road
  • Adelphi Road
  • Beach Road
  • Kernou Road
